Another day she looked at me and said, “I stubbed my toes.”\u00a0 I poured on some condolences and not two minutes later she said, “Not weally.\u00a0 I was dust faking.”<\/p>\n

At dinnertime she wanted to pray and began with this, “Dear Dod, fank ‘ou fo’ me and me and me.”\u00a0 I can’t think of a better way to describe her current world perspective. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
************<\/p>\n Another day she emphatically announced.\u00a0 “Some daddies have bea’ds. (beards)\u00a0 But our daddy doesn’t have a bea’d.\u00a0 Dust a tin (chin) and ‘pots (spots).<\/p>\n ***********<\/p>\n Zara was sitting on the diaper changing pad observing the print on it’s cover.\u00a0 “How did they make such a perfect triangle?”<\/p>\n Bella: “God did it with wood.”<\/p>\n ***********<\/p>\n One day we found the cutest blankets at Target.\u00a0 “Oh, Zara,” I said, “Wouldn’t these be cute for our baby?”<\/p>\n Zara: “Oh, I just can’t<\/em> resist!”<\/p>\n Completely taken aback by her choice of words I burst out laughing.<\/p>\n She looked a bit puzzled.\u00a0 “What does that even mean?”<\/p>\n *************<\/p>\n My Valentines ideas all fell apart because I simply couldn’t physically bring them to pass. \u00a0David saved the day and picked up takeout and brought everyone a little gift. \u00a0The girls were so, so thrilled with their balloons! \u00a0But what I most want to remember about the day is the way Bella deliberately wrote out her “Happy Lemontines Day” cards and played with her “Happy Lemontines” balloon.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
