<\/a><\/p>\nBut if you want to have a little fun like I did, here’s a heads up on how to do your own. \u00a0I made a few simple designs in photoshop elements. \u00a0Any program that lets you do design will work. \u00a0I love word art so most of mine are words or include words. \u00a0Or you could download free printable designs online to use.<\/p>\n
Once you have the design completed, print it on iron on transfer paper. \u00a0One of the most important things to remember is to flip the design! \u00a0I can do this when I’m printing but if you can’t you will need to reverse your words in the design otherwise it will read backward!<\/p>\n I found the ironing instructions to be a bit overkill and scorched a few things before I figured it out. \u00a0The paper comes with instructions and they’re important. \u00a0I learned the hard way! \u00a0I had my share of designs that peeled right off and scorched little items so if you don’t get it the first time keep trying! \u00a0A few tips, listen when they say not to use your ironing board. \u00a0It’s not hard enough. \u00a0I use my kitchen island since it’s granite and can tolerate heat and throw a pillowcase on top. \u00a0 You could also use a cookie sheet on top of your counter. \u00a0Make sure there isn’t any water in the iron so there isn’t any steam.<\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n<\/a><\/p>\n
\n<\/a>Because the designs are small and my iron is really hot, I didn’t need as much time as the instructions said. \u00a0I did more like six to seven second passes instead of 20 seconds and didn’t iron for as long total as they suggested. \u00a0The iron should be really hot and you want to use lots of pressure. \u00a0When I did some for Bella I didn’t use enough pressure and they cracked almost right away. \u00a0Let it cool for one minute and peel and wa la!<\/p>\n
