I love, love, LOVE the newborn stage &#8230; at least as much (if not more) as I despair with pregnancy.&nbsp; I love that new baby smell, the little grunts, the puffy little breaths, the way they s-t-r-e-t-c-h and yawn, and roll their eyes, they way they tuck their feet up underneath themselves and fold their tiny hands together.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photo.xanga.com\/smilesbymiles\/e2851191981124\/photo.html\" target=_blank><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"BORDER-RIGHT: #000000 2px solid; BORDER-TOP: #000000 2px solid; BORDER-LEFT: #000000 2px solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #000000 2px solid\" height=400 alt=\"May 2008 331 Large e-mail view\" src=\"http:\/\/xe2.xanga.com\/851c911007635191981124\/z147918999.jpg\"><\/a> <span style=\"WIDTH: 0px\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Liam is being the most incredible newborn ever, I think.&nbsp; And I can&#8217;t get over the miracle of being allowed to be his mommy.&nbsp; Almost every time I kiss him I think back to the time not even a year ago when I agonized over the fact that we might never have another baby.&nbsp; Now, here he is.&nbsp; God&#8217;s perfect gift to us.&nbsp; And I cry again.&nbsp; Only this time it&#8217;s in gratefulness.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photo.xanga.com\/smilesbymiles\/f6034191981129\/photo.html\" target=_blank><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"BORDER-RIGHT: #000000 2px solid; The other day he wanted to hold him.&nbsp; As soon as I placed Liam in his arms he said, &#8220;Mommy, I need my palm.&#8221;&nbsp; My grandma gave him a small calculator and pen set about the time David Lee got his palm and Adam thinks it is the greatest thing.&nbsp; &#8220;This thing is very impor&#8217;ant.&nbsp; You should not mess with it, Mommy.&#8221;&nbsp; So there he sat trying to multi-task like a real man.&nbsp; Liam squirmed and he said, &#8220;What&#8217;s the matter, son?&#8221;&nbsp; And when Liam&#8217;s tiny fingers got too close to his all important work he said, &#8220;No, no buddy, you need to keep your hands out of the way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photo.xanga.com\/smilesbymiles\/2f61b191981090\/photo.html\" target=_blank><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"BORDER-RIGHT: #000000 2px solid; He for the first time ever and me for the first time in almost a month.&nbsp; It is so much fun to feel like a person again.&nbsp; To be sociable instead of a self-imposed hermit.&nbsp; Almost every day Adam says, &#8220;Good the baby is not in your tummy anymore.&#8221;&nbsp; &#8220;Mommy you look so much better.&#8221;&nbsp; &#8220;Mommy you sound better, too.&#8221;&nbsp; &#8220;Mommy you are still just a little bit fat.&#8221;&nbsp; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/photo.xanga.com\/smilesbymiles\/6bfb9191981183\/photo.html\" target=_blank><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"BORDER-RIGHT: #000000 2px solid;
